CertiK: $612,000 in Stablecoin Stolen in Curve Finance Hacking Incident

KingData News: According to CertiK monitoring, $612,000 worth of stablecoins, including USDC and DAI, have been stolen from Curve Finance and sent to EOA 0x50f9, where they were converted to ETH. The hacker deployed a malicious contract & compromised CurveFinance DNS to point to a malicious site. When an individual interacted with the hackers contract, user's funds would be sent to the hackers wallet. So far, 362.8 ETH has been transferred out of the hackers wallet. ETH was transferred to TornadoCash (27.7 ETH), FixedFloat(292 ETH), Binance (20 ETH), and two EOAs - 0xcDd3 and 0x4547 (23.1 ETH).
This metrics provides a follow-up of hack incidents such as the exploitation of the Harmony-eco cross-chain bridge Horizon and the NFT lending protocol XCarnival.
