ConsenSys Will Collect the IP Address and ETH Address of MetaMask Users at the Time of Transaction

Nov 24,2022
KingData News: ConsenSys, an Ethernet infrastructure development company, has updated its privacy policy to state that when a user uses Infura as the default RPC in MetaMask, the corresponding IP address and ETH address will be collected when the user sends a transaction. If a user uses their own Ethernet node or a third-party RPC provider, then Infura and MetaMask will not collect the user's IP address or ETH address, depending on any information collection by the RPC provider the user uses and their terms regarding such requests.
